About FCPS Part-II & MCPS Training 2026
The Nawaz Sharif Social Security Teaching Hospital, Lahore, has opened applications for its Paid FCPS Part-II and MCPS training programs for the January 2026 induction. These training programs are offered under the guidelines of the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, Government of Punjab and PESSI regulations.
The available training disciplines include General Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Gynecology & Obstetrics, and Pulmonology. The hospital provides structured postgraduate training supervised by qualified faculty members and follows the CPSP-approved curriculum.
The MCPS program is exclusively for regular PESSI employees, offering skill enhancement and two-year training in Gynaecology & Obstetrics.

Eligibility Criteria for FCPS/MCPS training.
For FCPS Part-II:
- Must have PASSED FCPS Part-I (within 3 years; 5 years for Pulmonology).
- Maximum age: 40 years on the last date of application.
- For Pulmonology: 2 years IMM training in Medicine required.
- Only fresh candidates may apply (except Pulmonology trainees continuing their program).
For MCPS (PESSI Employees):
- Only regular PESSI staff may apply (with NOC from PESSI Head Office).
- Age limit: 45 years.
- Contract/retainer doctors are not eligible.
Required Documents For FCPS/MCPS.
Applicants must submit the following:
- Passport size photograph
- Matric certificate
- Intermediate (Pre-Medical) certificate
- MBBS degree (recognized by PMDC)
- Marks detail of all professional MBBS exams
- Attempt certificate (if applicable)
- Valid PMDC registration
- One-year House Job Certificate
- Valid CNIC
- Punjab domicile
- FCPS Part-I passing certificate (for FCPS applicants)
- Experience certificates (if any)
- University position certificate (if any)
- NOC (for government/semi-government/autonomous body employees)

- Submit your online application from 08.12.2025 to 14.12.2025
- Download the filled application form
- Attach all required attested documents
- Submit your complete file IN-PERSON ONLY at the office of the Medical Superintendent
- Last date for submission: 16.12.2025 (8am–2pm)
- Courier/post submissions will NOT be accepted
- Only shortlisted candidates will be included in the merit list

Stipend & Benefits
- FCPS trainees receive stipend as per PESSI rules.
- PESSI regular employees will receive their regular salaries instead of stipends during training.
